ADWIRON Z TABLET is a combination of Ferrous ascorbate, Folic acid and Zinc sulphate which belongs to the group of medicines called Haematinics. It is used for the treatment of anaemia caused by iron deficiency. Iron deficiency anaemia is when your body can't produce enough haemoglobin (a substance in red blood cells that enables them to carry oxygen), due to insufficient iron.

ADWIRON Z TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with untreated cobalamin deficiency, Addisonian pernicious anaemia or malignant disease (except megaloblastic anaemia). Before taking ADWIRON Z TABLET, inform your doctor if you have hemochromatosis, hemoglobinopathies, any gastrointestinal diseases or anaemias other than those due to iron deficiency or if you are receiving repeated blood transfusions.

ADWIRON Z TABLET is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but consult your doctor before taking it. The most common side effects of taking ADWIRON Z TABLET are digestive tract problems like abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, black stools, indigestion, etc. Consult your doctor if any of your symptoms get worse.
