MY 360MG TABLET contains Mycophenolate sodium which belongs to the group of medicines called Immunosuppressants. It is used to prevent your body rejecting a transplanted organ (kidney). It is also given with other medications such as corticosteroids and ciclosporin.
During treatment with MY 360MG TABLET, your doctor might advise you to take regular blood tests to check white blood cell count to assess immunity function of the body.
MY 360MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you are allergic to mycophenolic acid, mycophenolate sodium, and mycophenolate mofetil.
It should be used with caution in patients with serious digestive problems (such as stomach ulcer), who are scheduled for vaccination, intolerance to certain sugars (such as lactose, galactose, or glucose), liver problems (such as history of hepatitis B or C), and severe kidney problems.
It is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. MY 360MG TABLET is also not recommended for use in children and adolescents (below 18 years of age). Consult your doctor for advice.
It should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above). The most common side effects associated with the use of MY 360MG TABLET are bloating, constipation, indigestion, high blood pressure, anxiety, diarrhoea, joint pain and dizziness. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms worsens.
MY 360MG TABLET belongs to immunosuppressants which reduces the action of the body's own defense system (the immune system) and prevents rejection of the transplanted organ.
Take MY 360MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
Stop taking MY 360MG TABLET and contact your doctor if you experience any of the following side effects:
Headache:
Take rest and drink plenty of water. Avoid taking alcohol and skipping meals. Do not strain your eyes by watching screen for long time. Consult your doctor if the symptom does not improve.
Dizziness:
Lie down until the dizziness passes and get up slowly. Do not bend down suddenly. Get a lot of rest. Walk slowly and carefully. Take plenty of fluids. Avoid drinking coffee, alcohol, or smoking. Consult your doctor if the symptom does not improve.
Diarrhoea:
Drink lot of fluids, such as water to keep yourself hydrated. Try to avoid taking any medicine on your own to treat diarrhoea and consult your doctor if the symptom gets worse.
Constipation:
Try to eat more high-fibre foods such as fresh fruit, vegetables, cereals, and drink plenty of water. Try doing exercise regularly (going for a daily walk or run). If this does not help, inform your doctor for receiving alternate treatment for constipation.
Nausea and Vomiting:
Try to take MY 360MG TABLET with or just after a meal or a snack. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oily, fried or spicy foods. Do not lie down or sleep immediately after eating. Consult your doctor if the symptom gets worse.
MY 360MG TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy and in women planning to become pregnant. Women with childbearing potential should confirm with negative in pregnancy test and follow effective contraception before taking MY 360MG TABLET to avoid birth defects and miscarriage. Consult your doctor before taking MY 360MG TABLET.
MY 360MG TABLET is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it can pass into the breast milk. Consult your doctor taking MY 360MG TABLET.
MY 360MG TABLET has no or negligible effect on your ability to drive and use machines. Consult your doctor before taking MY 360MG TABLET.
MY 360MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney problems. Consult your doctor before taking MY 360MG TABLET.
MY 360MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with a history of hepatitis B or C (liver infection). Consult your doctor before taking MY 360MG TABLET.
Do not take MY 360MG TABLET if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Mycophenolate sodium or to some sugars such as lactose, galactose, or glucose or to other ingredients of this medicine.
MY 360MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with lung diseases. Contact your doctor before taking MY 360MG TABLET.
