It is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) when treatment with single agents is not effective. It can also be used to prevent the risk of heart attack, stroke or angina (chest pain).
During treatment with ALDO H 5/12.5MG TABLET your doctor will constantly monitor your kidney functions, blood pressure, electrolyte levels and blood sugar levels to avoid the risk of unwanted side effects. Avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while taking ALDO H 5/12.5MG TABLET as it may severely decrease your blood pressure.
Before taking ALDO H 5/12.5MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have any other heart problems apart from hypertension (such as heart failure) or have diabetes, severe low blood pressure or dehydration or electrolyte imbalance as a precaution.
