8X CREAM contains Ciclopirox, which belongs to the group of medicines called antifungals. It is indicated for the topical management of fungal skin infections like tinea pedis (infection of the feet causing an itchy, scaly rash), tinea cruris (fungal infection involving genital areas and the inner thigh and characterized by red, itchy, ring-shaped rashes), and tinea corporis (fungal infection of the trunk, arms, and legs).
It is also used to manage candidiasis or moniliasis (a fungal infection of the skin, mouth, throat, gut, and vagina), tinea (pityriasis), and versicolor (a fungal infection causing lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs).
8X CREAM should be used during pregnancy only if it is considered clearly necessary. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
8X CREAM should be used with caution by breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
The most common side effects of using 8X CREAM are itchiness, a mild burning sensation, or redness. Contact your doctor if any of the above symptoms worsen.
It is used for the topical management of the following fungal skin infections:
8X CREAM is a broad-spectrum antifungal medication that works by inhibiting or killing a wide range of fungi that cause infections. Thus, it helps to manage fungal infections effectively.
Always use 8X CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Apply 8X CREAM into the affected and surrounding skin areas with clean hands and let it dry in air, do not apply a covering on it.
Stop using 8X CREAM and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Avoid hot showers because hot water can irritate the skin. Do not scratch the affected area. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors. Regularly use unscented moisturizers to soothe and hydrate the affected area. Contact your doctor if the itching worsens.
8X CREAM should be used during pregnancy only if it is considered clearly necessary. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
8X CREAM should be used with caution in breastfeeding woman as it is not known whether this medicine is passed into breast milk. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Do not use 8X CREAM if you are allergic to ciclopirox or any other ingredients of this medicine.
The safety and effectiveness of 8X CREAM in children below 10 years of age have not been established. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.

What is 8X CREAM used for?
8X CREAM is indicated for the topical management of the fungal skin infections like tinea pedis, tinea cruris and tinea corporis, candidiasis or moniliasis and tinea (pityriasis) versicolor. Contact your doctor before using this medicine.
Can I use 8X CREAM twice daily?
Always use 8X CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Generally 8X CREAM is applied twice daily, in the morning and evening into the affected and surrounding skin areas with clean hands and let it dry in air, do not apply a covering on it.
How long does it take for 8X CREAM to work?
Use the medication for the full treatment time even though symptoms may have improved. Clinical improvement with relief of itching and other symptoms usually occurs within the first week of treatment. If there is no clinical improvement after four weeks of using 8X CREAM, notify the physician.
What are the side effects of 8X CREAM ?
The most common side effects of using 8X CREAM are itchiness, mild burning sensation or redness. Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.
What precautions have to be taken while using 8X CREAM?
Before using 8X CREAM inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or are breastfeeding and inform if the area of application shows signs of increased irritation (redness, itching, burning, blistering, swelling, or oozing) indicative of possible sensitization.
