Dolodart 120mg Suspension is an analgesic and antipyretic medicine used to treat fever, mild to moderate pain, post vaccination pain and tooth pain in children. It contains Paracetamol as an active ingredient.
Paracetamol inhibits the specific pathways that are necessary for activating the pain mechanism. It suppresses the synthesis of prostaglandins (pain causing chemicals) at the affected site. It treats fever by directly acting on the heat-regulating centres of the brain. This leads to dilation of blood vessels of peripheral body causing sweating and loss of body heat.
Always give Dolodart 120mg Suspension as advised by your doctor. It is for paediatric use. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Avoid giving if your child is allergic to paracetamol.
