ARISTOZYME DROPS is a combination of Diastase and Pepsin which belongs to the group of medicines called Digestives, respectively. It is used to treat stomach related problems (such as indigestion, bloating, acidity) and also to increase appetite in affected children.
ARISTOZYME DROPS is not recommended for use in children allergic to Diastase and/or Pepsin. Before administering ARISTOZYME DROPS, inform your doctor if the child suffers from any other health problems, and/or have liver/kidney problems.
ARISTOZYME DROPS is not recommended to be used in pregnant and breastfeeding women as it is intended to be used only in children. ARISTOZYME DROPS is indicated for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and is advised not to be used in elderly patients.
The most common side effects of administering ARISTOZYME DROPS in child are skin rashes, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, severe dizziness, and/or joint pain. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms becomes worse in the child.
Used in paediatric patients:
ARISTOZYME DROPS provides relief from indigestion and dyspepsia, where pepsin relives digestive disturbance by breaking down proteins and diastase aids in digestion by breaking down carbohydrates from food providing relief from indigestion and dyspepsia in affected children.
Administer ARISTOZYME DROPS in child as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Your doctor will decide the exact dose and duration of treatment for your child depending on child’s age, body weight and disease condition.
Diarrhoea:
Ask the child to drink plenty of water so that the child is hydrated. Try to avoid administering any medicine to the child on your own to treat diarrhea. Consult and inform your doctor if the symptom worsens.
Nausea:
Administer ARISTOZYME DROPS to the child with/just after a meal. Stick to simple meals. Avoid giving oil rich/spicy foods, sugary snacks/drinks to the child. Consult your doctor if the condition worsens in the child.
Constipation:
Try to provide child high-fiber foods such as vegetables, cereals, fresh fruit and have the child to drink plenty of water. Consult and inform your doctor for receiving alternate treatments for constipation for the child if it worsens.
