ALEX L ORAL SUSPENSION contains Levocloperastine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antitussives agents. It is used for symptomatic treatment of non-productive cough associated with acute and chronic respiratory disorders. Do not consume alcohol while taking this medicine. ALEX L ORAL SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver impairment, have excessive discharge of mucus, or limited mucociliary function.
Before using ALEX L ORAL SUSPENSION tell your doctor if you have hypertension, cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, or seizures ALEX L ORAL SUSPENSION is generally not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is not recommended for use in children (early childhood). Consult your doctor if you experience nausea, headache, dizziness, exhaustion, or any other side effects.
ALEX L ORAL SUSPENSION acts at the central nervous system (CNS) level by blocking both the central cough centre and peripheral receptors in the airway passage (trachea, lungs). Hence reducing the cough.
Use ALEX L ORAL SUSPENSION as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, disease condition and body weight.
Nausea:

Apply hot or cold-water bag on your head. Try to take rest in a quiet and dark room. Massage on scalp or head with mild pressure. Consult your doctor for advice.
