COSKLOT MF TABLET contains a combination of Mefenamic acid and Tranexamic acid, which belongs to the group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) and antifibrinolytics. It helps to stop/arrest bleeding and relieve pain and swelling from various parts of the body. It is used to treat, control and prevent heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia) and menstrual pain, bleeding from the nose or eyes, following a tooth extraction, prostate surgery etc.
Tranexamic acid works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots by blocking the interaction of plasminogen with fibrin. Mefenamic acid works by preventing the release of a chemical messenger called prostaglandin by inhibiting an enzyme called cyclooxygenase that causes fever, pain and inflammation in the body (redness and swelling). Your doctor may suggest you take relevant medical tests to understand your existing condition.
COSKLOT MF TABLET is not recommended for use if you have severe kidney disease or failure, blood clots (thrombosis), abnormal body movements such as fits or seizures, an abnormal or excessive bleeding disorder (consumptive coagulopathy), etc. COSKLOT MF TABLET should be used with caution. Inform your doctor if you have blood in the urine, uncontrolled bleeding, blood clots throughout your body, irregular menstruation, mild to moderate kidney or liver disease, angioneurotic oedema (HANO), etc.
COSKLOT MF TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women and nursing mothers and only if prescribed by a doctor. The most common side effects of COSKLOT MF TABLET are feeling sick, vomiting, having a headache, having an abnormal heartbeat, having changes in blood pressure, having difficulty urinating, having urine leaks, etc. Contact your doctor if the symptoms worsen.

Stop taking COSKLOT MF TABLET and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Nausea (feeling sick) or vomiting:
Take COSKLOT MF TABLET with or just after meals. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating rich or spicy food.
Headache:
Take rest and get adequate sleep and stay hydrated. Consult your doctor immediately if the symptoms persist or worsen.
Diarrhea:
Drink lots of fluids, such as water or fruit juices to keep yourself hydrated. Consult your doctor immediately if the symptom did not improve.
COSKLOT MF TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women, only if recommended by your doctor. Consult your doctor before taking it.
COSKLOT MF TABLET should be used with caution in breastfeeding mothers, only if recommended by your doctor. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Do not drive or operate any heavy tools or machines. If you are experiencing improper vision, dizziness etc.
Avoid consuming alcohol while using COSKLOT MF TABLET, as it may worsen your existing condition and increases the risk of bleeding in the stomach. Consult your doctor before taking it.
COSKLOT MF TABLET is not recommended for use if are having severe kidney disease such as kidney failure etc. Consult your doctor before taking it.
COSKLOT MF TABLET should be used with caution if you are having liver disease. Consult your doctor before taking it.
