ACEBRONIC AC TABLET is a combination of Acebrophylline and N-Acetylcysteine which belongs to the group of medicines called Bronchodilators and Mucolytics respectively. It is used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used to treat inflammation of the airways (such as bronchitis or cystic fibrosis) and reduce the onset of other complications caused due to mucus obstruction in the airways such as bronchospasm (paralysis of airways) and wheezing or shortness of breath.
Take ACEBRONIC AC TABLET preferably with meals or as advised by your physician. Before taking ACEBRONIC AC TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have fits, stomach ulcers, viral infections, hypertension or hyperthyroidism as a precaution.
ACEBRONIC AC TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and in breastfeeding women. The most common side effects of taking ACEBRONIC AC TABLET are epigastric pain, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, diarrhea and constipation. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects trouble you.

ACEBRONIC AC TABLET is a bronchodilator with anti-inflammatory and mucolytic properties. It blocks the release of certain chemicals (such as phosphodiesterase) in the respiratory tract that triggers airway inflammation, swelling and narrowing. As a result, it widens the airways, and reduces airway inflammation. It also loosens the mucus accumulated in the airways which allows the air to pass through more freely through the airways and makes breathing easier.
Take ACEBRONIC AC TABLET preferably with meals or as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
Do not stop taking ACEBRONIC AC TABLET once your symptoms subside without consulting your doctor.
Stop taking this medicine and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Nausea and Vomiting
Take ACEBRONIC AC TABLET with or just after meals. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oil rich or spicy foods. Consult your doctor if your symptom worsens.
Dizziness:
Try to rest and relax. Get enough sleep. Avoid driving or operating any tools or machines completely while you are feeling dizzy. Do not consume excessive alcohol, as it could aggravate your dizziness. Consult your doctor if your dizziness worsens.

ACEBRONIC AC TABLET usually does not affect your ability to drive or operate any machinery. However, do not drive or handle any heavy tools or machines if you feel dizzy or drowsy after taking ACEBRONIC AC TABLET.
ACEBRONIC AC TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney problems. It should be used with caution in patients with other kidney problems. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.
