It is also indicated for use in acute and recovery phase of cerebral infarction (condition that occurs due to poor blood supply to the brain) and Parkinson’s disease (age related degenerative brain condition) in affected individuals.

CEHAM TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Citicoline. It is also not recommended for use in patients suffering from hypertonia (muscle overactivity).

HOW CEHAM TABLET WORKS

CEHAM TABLET works by increasing the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine (chemical that produces acetylcholine, responsible for memory and other bodily functions) which leads to improved cerebral function and cognitive function in Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. It also works by repairing neuronal membranes and damaged cholinergic neurons via potentiation of acetylcholine production and reduction of free fatty acid accumulation at stroke-induced nerve damage site which results in the prevention neuronal cell death thus helping in the recovery phase of cerebral infarction in affected individuals.
