Otogesic Ear Drops is a pain-relieving medicine used to provide relief from ear pain, swelling, irritation and discomfort. It contains dibucaine, 4-carboxymethylamino-4 aminodiphenyl sulphone, dihydroxy methyl carbamide as active ingredients.
Otogesic Ear Drops works by blocking the transfer of pain signals between the brain and spinal cord and the affected areas. This causes temporary numbness of the affected areas, thereby relieving pain, irritation and discomfort.
Use Otogesic Ear Drops as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Remove the outer cap of the bottle and exert slight pressure on the bottle until drops form. Gently instil few drops (preferably 5 drops) of this medicine into the affected ears every 3 to 5 hours. Replace the cap after each use.
Wash your hands before and after application. Do not touch the tip of the container with your eyes, eyelids, areas around your eyes, outer surface of the ears or fingers, to avoid contamination.
